Oak Cinder is a heritage apparel label based in Portland, Oregon. Established 2026.
I started Oak Cinder because I wanted to make a shirt I actually wanted to wear, and because the rest of what I was building needed a place to put the part that wasn't quiet.
The name is small on purpose. Oak is the slow tree, the one that takes a hundred years and outlasts you. Cinder is what's left after the fire has done its work, and what you use to start the next one. Together they read as a sequence: something grown, something burned down, something lit again. That sequence is the whole brand.
Right now it's tees and caps. There's more coming. We design pieces to stay, not to disappear.
We design every piece here. Production happens with US-based print and embroidery partners, made to order after you place it. No warehouse, no overstock, no discount cycle.
